Applications of PEM Fuel Cells

PEM fuel cells are used in a wide range of applications, including transportation, stationary power generation, and portable electronics. They are known for their high efficiency, low emissions, and compact size. PEM fuel cells are also used in aerospace, marine, and military applications due to their reliability and performance.

IE have developed two versions of the IE-DRIVE, using the same core fuel cell stack technology. IE-DRIVE HD100 is our heavy-duty fuel cell which is a one-box design ideal for buses, trucks and stationary power. IE-DRIVE 100 is designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, a modular design providing maximum flexibility for installation into hydrogen powered vehicles.

Our HD100 fuel cells for automotive use are also suitable for a wide range of applications such as stationary power, construction, rail and marine.
